Here's the set of beads:

Can you spot the flaw? It's small but I promise you it's there and is enough of a flaw that the bead won't even go in my Bead Lab bowl. It will take up residence in a glass mug that sits on my dresser where no one will be tempted to take it home.
I'm letting this serve as a reminder to me that I need to always examine each bead carefully just to be sure that my customers are getting my absolute best.
Hope you're all having a great week where you are.

These are beautiful! I think I see what you are referring to. It looks like there is an air bubble (or something) in the flower's center, 2nd bead from the left.
ReplyDeleteExactly. I didn't see it when I was making it and so it didn't get fixed. It makes that dot unstable and if it got banged against something it could shatter. Definitely don't want that to happen to anyone!
ReplyDeleteYou goobered all over your bead.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't see the "flaw" - perhaps because of my old eyes! I, too, check my photos in zoom mode to check for flaws, dirt, lint, hair, etc. Then see if I can fix and re-take the photo.
